Audio Monk and Shābdha are two intertwined expressions of Goa-based DJ, producer, and event curator Pranjal Shetty, who crafts long-form, psychedelic journeys across dance music from deep, hypnotic psytrance to raw underground house, disco, and techno.
Under the Audio Monk alias he channels the classic Goa spirit into detailed, high-energy psytrance sets and original productions built for sunrise floors, open-airs, and intense night-time rituals, while Shābdha—named after a Sanskrit/Tulu word meaning “a sound that connects, moves, and transforms”—is his newer project dedicated to sharing the rest of his sonic universe, a space for exploring and releasing underground sounds beyond psytrance.
