1. General Information
1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of audiomonk.in and ticket purchases for events by Audiomonk (including Audio Monk, Shābdha, Goa Espiritu, and Darkness to Light events).
1.2 By accessing audiomonk.in or buying tickets, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the site or purchase tickets.
1.3 Audiomonk reserves the right to update these Terms anytime. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on audiomonk.in.
2. Ticket Purchase & Payment
2.1 Tickets are sold only through audiomonk.in and authorized partners. Third-party purchases are at your own risk.
2.2 Prices are in INR (Indian Rupees).
2.3 Payments process securely via our gateway (Razorpay). You agree to their terms during checkout.
2.4 Bookings confirm only after successful payment and confirmation email/Unique Ticket Code ticket receipt. Provide accurate contact details to receive booking information.
3. Digital Tickets & Entry
3.1 Tickets issue in digital form (PDF/ Unique Ticket code / Buyer Name and Email). Present valid ticket + Your personal ID at event entrance.
3.2 Each ticket is valid for one person only. Duplication, resale, or misuse of tickets may void them without refund.
3.3 Entry follows age restrictions, venue rules, and local laws. Non-compliance means denied entry at Audiomonk’s discretion.
4. No Resale & Transfer
4.1 Tickets are non-transferable and non-resellable unless Audiomonk approves in writing.
4.2 Unauthorized resale voids tickets without refund or notice.
5. Event Changes, Postponement & Cancellation
5.1 Audiomonk may change artist lineups, event times, venues, or other details for safety, technical, or operational reasons, with notice where possible.
5.2 Event Postponement: Tickets are usually valid for the rescheduled date. If you cannot attend the new date, refunds or credits are at Audiomonk’s discretion.
5.3 Event Cancellation: You may be entitled to partial or full refunds (minus payment gateway fees) as required by applicable Indian law. Processing times vary by bank.
5.4 Audiomonk is not responsible for additional costs you incur (travel, accommodation, etc.) due to event changes or cancellation.
6. Refund Policy (Customer-Initiated)
6.1 All ticket sales are generally final and non-refundable, except where explicitly stated on event pages
6.2 No refunds are issued for:
– Late arrival or non-attendance (“no-show”)
– Removal from event due to rule violations or Code of Conduct breaches
– Dissatisfaction with artist selection, music style, crowd, weather, or other subjective factors
– Personal circumstances (illness, cancellations, change of plans)
6.3 Refund requests (where applicable) must be submitted through official channels at https://audiomonk.in/connect/(https://audiomonk.in/connect/) with original booking proof.
7. Code of Conduct & Safety
7.1 Audiomonk events create safe, respectful, and conscious dance spaces. By attending, you agree to:
– Respect other participants’ physical, emotional, and personal boundaries
– Refrain from harassment, violence, discrimination, or abusive behavior of any kind
– Follow all instructions from event staff, security personnel, and organizers
– Maintain the conscious, artistic integrity of the space
7.2 Audiomonk reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate, without refund.
7.3 Use of illegal substances, weapons, or prohibited items is strictly forbidden. Violations may result in:
– Immediate removal from event (no refund)
– Involvement of local authorities as required by law
– Banning from future Audiomonk events
8. Health, Well-being & Sound Safety
8.1 DJ events involve:
– High sound pressure levels and intensity
– Intense strobing and lighting effects
– Extended periods of physical dancing
– Psychill/psytrance musical experiences designed for altered states
You attend entirely at your own risk and are responsible for your own physical and mental well-being.
8.2 If you have medical conditions (heart issues, epilepsy, sound sensitivity, hearing loss, mobility challenges, anxiety disorders, or similar), consult your doctor before attending and take appropriate precautions.
8.3 Hearing Protection: Extended exposure to loud sound systems can cause permanent hearing damage. Earplugs are strongly recommended for long events.
8.4 Audiomonk is not liable for hearing damage, health issues, injury, or other consequences arising from event attendance.
9. Photography, Video & Content Use
9.1 Events may be photographed or recorded in audio/video form for documentation, promotion, and artistic archival. By attending, you grant Audiomonk the non-exclusive right to use images, video, and audio recordings including your likeness, without further notice or compensation, in accordance with Indian privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.
9.2 Specific conscious dance, ritual, or healing events may have strict “no-photo / no-video” policies to protect the sacred or intimate space. These policies will be communicated in advance and posted onsite. You agree to respect and follow these boundaries completely.
9.3 Unauthorized commercial recording, livestreaming, or photography is strictly prohibited unless you have prior written permission from Audiomonk.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 All content on audiomonk.in—including text, graphics, logos, event descriptions, DJ mixes, music snippets, and brand names (Audio Monk, Shābdha, Goa Espiritu, Darkness to Light)—is protected by copyright and Indian intellectual property laws.
10.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except for fair use as allowed by Indian law.
11. Liability & Disclaimers
11.1 You attend events and use audiomonk.in entirely at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Audiomonk, its organizers, partners, staff, and featured artists are not liable for:
– Bodily injury, damage, loss, or theft at or near the venue
– Accidents, incidents, or third-party actions
– Technical website issues (downtime, payment errors, email failures)
– Loss or damage to personal property
– Any claim arising from your attendance or use of the website
11.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is not permitted by Indian law (for example, cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct).
12. Third-Party Services & Payment Gateway
12.1 audiomonk.in integrates with third-party services including:
Payment gateways (Razorpay) for ticket purchases
Music streaming platforms featuring Audio Monk tracks:
Spotify:
SoundCloud:
Beatport:
12.2 You independently agree to the terms of all third-party services (payment gateways and music platforms) when using them.
12.3 Audiomonk is not responsible for:
Payment issues: Audiomonk is not responsible for errors, delays, security issues, or failures from third-party platforms, though reasonable efforts are made to partner only with reputable, secure providers.
Music purchase issues: Billing disputes, downloads, track quality on Spotify/SoundCloud/Beatport
Any third-party platform failures, though we partner only with reputable providers
12.4 Music purchases on streaming platforms are governed exclusively by each platform’s Terms of Service. audiomonk.in has no involvement in track sales, downloads, or support.
13. Privacy & Data Protection
13.1 When you purchase tickets or use audiomonk.in, personal data (name, email, phone, payment details) is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data protection laws (including relevant IT Act provisions).
13.2 Audiomonk uses your contact information to send:
– Booking confirmations and digital tickets
– Event updates and logistical information
– Promotional content and newsletters (where consent is provided)
13.3 You are responsible for keeping your contact data up to date so you receive all event communications.
14. Force Majeure
14.1 Audiomonk is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including:
– Extreme weather conditions
– Natural disasters
– Pandemics or government restrictions
– Strikes or labor actions
– Infrastructure failures
– Military action or terrorism
14.2 In force majeure situations, Audiomonk may postpone, modify, or cancel events. Any refund or credit options will be handled case-by-case and communicated on audiomonk.in.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
15.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15.2 Any disputes, claims, or legal actions arising from these Terms, ticket purchases, event attendance, or use of audiomonk.in shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Goa, India.
15.3 You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.

17. Entire Agreement
17.1 These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any event-specific rules posted on audiomonk.in, constitute the entire agreement between you and Audiomonk regarding ticket sales and event attendance.
17.2 If any section of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a court, that section will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and all other sections remain in full effect.
